Little Egg Harbor is committed to preserving open space within the Township. That committment is evidenced by the referendum passed in November 2001 to authorize a one-cent tax collection for open space.
The Governing Body of Little Egg Harbor has created the Natural Lands Trust Advisory Committee. Their objective is to recommend specific properties to be acquired for open space and recreation. Committee meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 6:00PM at the Little Egg Harbor Township Administrative Justice Complex.
